Old Smokey

RJ Corman is getting Old Smokey out for the Derby Train this year - here is tomorrow's schedule so maybe you can catch a glimpse of this old Steam Engine!

The schedule is as follows:
9:00 am Depart R. J. Corman Railroad’s Central Kentucky Yard on Buchanan Street
9:35 am Pass Midway
10:10 am Pass Frankfort
10:40 am Pass Bagdad
10:45 am Stop at “Wick Moorman Wye” (Heinsville Road) to switch out locomotives
Old Smokey will return to the Central Kentucky Yard in Lexington according to the following schedule:
11:45 am Depart Wye at Heinsville Road
11:50 am Pass Bagdad
12:20 pm Pass Frankfort
1:00 pm Pass Midway
1:35 pm A A Arrive Lexington at Buchanan Street

Police Memorial Fund!!!!

Facebook Fans: Off-duty police officers and firefighters will be on hand with LEX 18 and Cumulus Radio in the parking lot of Fayette Mall in Lexington Friday evening to collect money for the memorial fund for the family of a Lexington Police officer killed in the line of duty by a hit and run driver Thursday night. We will be located in the Macy's parking lot near Nicholasville Rd and Reynolds Rd.

I did this with both my boys - you get four sessions, a free pic from each session, and they will put them in a panel upon completion. The frame is extra but this is such a cute way to have a little reminder of how they grow so quickly all in one frame!

My kids love wandering downtown and throwing pennies in every fountain they can - we always hit them on Saturdays during the Farmer's Market... which opens THIS Saturday!!
