Check out the new classes for winter starting January 3rd at Amerisport Gymnastics! We enrolled my son when he was three and he had a blast! There were various activities he participated in and they did a great job organizing a rotation around the different parts of the gym.

Lil Sprouts Sneak Peek!! Make your reservations early!
LI’L SPROUTS (at the UK arboretum)
Wednesdays in March, 10a.m. Cost $2.00 per child
March 2- Sneak Peak!
Take a preview walk through the new Kentucky Children’s Garden. Enjoy planting pea seeds in the garden beds and see what signs of spring are emerging. Our seeds will need rain to grow. Li’l Sprouts will make a rain stick to take home.
March 9- Plants Need What?
After hiking through the Home Demonstration Garden we will talk about what plants need to grow. Li’l Sprouts will then set up their own terrarium to take home and nurture. Please bring a container appropriate for a small terrarium.
March 16- Green is the Thing!
Wear and think green! We will decorate a recycled pot and plant something special and green in it.
March 23- March Winds Blow!
Listen to poems about the wind, enjoy a blustery day walk and make a special wind chime to take home so you can “hear” the wind.
March 30-Get Ready to Garden!
Take a walk through the garden to see what changes have taken place this month. Listen to a special spring story and decorate your very own garden apron in preparation for the garden season.

Healthy Spoonfuls: How to Raise a Healthy Eater Series
This is a series that runs on Saturdays at Baptist Healthworx in Lexington Green. The classes are specific for age groups and you can attend one or all. Just read through the information below and contact them for more info!
Come and learn about transitioning your child to solid foods. You’ll learn tips on how and when to start transitioning, appropriate serving sizes and proper food consistencies. We will also cover common food allergies and how to make your own baby food! In addition to this baby nutrition class, we will actually cook several baby foods as samples for you to take home! Recipes and educational material will be provided.
