Fables and Prints
with Joel Feldman

Literature and art come together in the creation of several large scale wood block prints. Artist Joel Feldman collaborated with several middle and high school students selected this fall to create large scale prints inspired by Aesop’s Fables. The results of this unique collaboration will be displayed in the Gloria Singletary Gallery. Student artists include: Abby Adams, Daniel Balko, Charlotte Eckmann, Dara Golding , Rory Hefner-Templar, Carmen-Maria von Unrug, Garath Walker, and Sarah Witherington. Joel Feldman is an artist who currently resides in Lexington. He is known for his use of fables and folk tales as source material for the imagery of his woodcut prints. Feldman has been involved in numerous exhibits and residencies around the globe, his most recent taking place in Achill Island, Ireland, and Beijing, China.
