Upcoming Salato Wildlife Education Center Events!







March 17 Interpretive Tour
Join a member of the Salato staff Saturday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m. for an inter­pretive tour of the Center’s outdoor exhibits. Learn some of the fascinating biology and behavior of Kentucky’s native wildlife and habitats, as well as the role Kentucky Fish and Wildlife plays in their conservation and management. Limit: 25 participants. Preregistration required. Cost: Free.

March 22, 29 & April 5 Fishing Fun!
Bring your children out for some fishing fun with members of the Georgetown College Fishing Team Thursday, March 22, 29 and April 5 from 2:30-4:00 p.m.
These experienced anglers will show your children some fishing basics.
Limit: 30 participants. Pre-registration required. Cost: Free.
March 31 Safari Saturday
Bring your little ones, ages 3-6, to the Salato Center Saturday, March 31 from 10-11 a.m. for a fun-filled morning of activities. This program is designed to foster within your child a connection to wildlife and the outdoors. Parents or chaperones must remain with their children during the program. Limit: 15 par­ticipants. Pre-registration required. Cost: Free.
