Once Upon A Onesie Review

I have two boys.  Two, wild, rowdy, messy, dirty boys.  Needless to say we don't have bows, ribbons, ruffles, or other cutsie things usually associated with little girl's clothes.  But.... I have found ways to get creative!! 

Once Upon A Onesie sent me an awesome shirt that my boys can wear and that I think is too cute!

I've already washed it and it's laundered great - no problem with the felt design on the front at all.  I love that it's not white - that color doesn't seem to go well with my messy 3 year old!  (I'm sure they'll do white for you if your child doesn't request ketchup as often as mine!)

Lexington Philharmonic PB and J Series

PB&J Concert
 LexPhil has only one more PB&J Concert of the season! Bring your little ones out to the University of Kentucky Art Museum on Saturday, April 7 as we explore music from Asia, Australia and Africa with a LexPhil percussion ensemble!

Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door, all ages. Dancing and wiggling is encouraged.

Two performance times:
10:00 a.m. - PB&J sandwiches and concert / 10:30 a.m. - instrument petting zoo
OR
11:00 a.m. - PB&J sandwiches and concert / 11:30 a.m. - instrument petting zoo

The Play Date With Your Mate Series kicks off in March at the Life Adventure Center in Versailles.  My husband and I went to an event last spring and had a great time!

“It Takes Two to GPS”

10am - 2pm

Explore LACBG’s 575-acre farm while participating in a real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Discover hidden caches with your spouse using a GPS unit. We’ll supply you with everything you need including lunch. No previous experience required. $35/couple. Registration by March 9^th please.

Preview: Here are the next two Play Date with Your Mate events:

Friday March 30-31^st- Our first over-night Play Date with Your Mate: “Couples vs. Wild” campout. The evening starts at 7:00 p.m. with programming planned by our experienced Wilderness Living Program staff. You can bring your own tent or we have tents available for an additional charge. Breakfast is included on Saturday and the date ends Saturday at noon. More information and a flyer will be available soon! Cost $60/couple

 

Friday April 13^th- 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Life Adventure Center presents “Play Date with your Mate - Zip & Dip: Challenge Course Sampler”

Come zip through our challenge course with a sampling of our low challenges, rock wall, zip line, and enjoy an appetizer sampler with your sweetheart. Our play dates are special events designed to strengthen marriages by providing opportunities for couples to have purposeful interaction with each other and other couples while participating in fun activities together. Couples can expect opportunities to improve their trust & communication skills, to show their encouragement and support for one another, and most importantly to build memories as they laugh and play together. These events are open to the public and require advanced registration. Please check out our website for more information on all of our other “Play Date with your Mate” events. Cost is $35.00 per couple and will include a light appetizer meal. Please register by March 30^th.
